My research is on the adjustment of higher education policy to market norms in the context of globalization. I use two interconnected frameworks to study the politics and economics of the global higher education market(s):

1. SYSTEMIC FRAMEWORK

1.3. National, international, supranational operators.
1.4. International academic mobility.

2. INSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORK
2.1. University governance mechanisms.
2.2. Accountability.
2.3. Quality assurance.
2.4. Knowledge and technology transfer.

My focus is in the systemic articulation of geopolitical and geoeconomic interests.
